SOME WORDS
FROM WILSON.....
Thanks to all who have
given so generously. The outpouring of support made my Christmas a happy
one. I am recovering well and will hopefully find my forever home soon. Love
and big Dober kiss from Wilson the Wonder Boy
PUPPIES, PUPPIES EVERYWHERE!..... Hi, this is Garland, Vixen,
Eve, and Holly. Oh, and we also have a brother, Donner, but he is too sick
to tell his story. And, oh, my gosh, it's Christmas, and we've been so sick
that we didn't get to wait up for Santa, or s pend
the holidays in a forever home. First, we got parvo, which required us to
spend a lot of time at the vet's office. . . and let us tell you, that isn't
a lot of fun. Miraculously, we all survived parvo, but then we all came down
with upper respiratory infections. We girls are all doing pretty well, but
our brother isn't doing so well. Donner doesn't just have an upper
respiratory infection anymore, he now has this thing called "pneumonia."
We're worried about him because our new foster mom has to use all this scary
stuff on him. She says that he has to have IV fluids, nebulizer treatment,
and lots of meds. Although our foster mom says all this stuff will help
Donner, we think it is all just scary looking and we're worried because
right now Donner has lost two pounds and won't eat or drink. We're very
scared that we might lose our brother. Sure, boys are a pain, but everyone
needs a snotty little brother. Please send your prayers this holiday season
that we won't lose Donner. Oh, one more thing, our foster mom also says that
taking care of us is "expensive." We don't really know what that means, but
if you do, could you please help out with that. There isn't much we can do
to fix that "expensive" thing, but we sure hope some of you nice people can
help! A note from the volunteers of HMDD – thus far, the puppies care has
totaled over $1,500. If they make it through these next few weeks, they will
have no long-term medical problems from the Parvo and will make
their forever homes happy and joyful. In addition to your financial support,
we really do need Divine intervention. If you can't send money, please
remember our little ladies and guy in your prayers. You can make a donation
by sending a check or money order to HMDD PO Box 12325, Columbus, Ohio
43212-0325 or you can make a secure payment online by clicking the donate
button using PayPal which takes checks and all credit cards. All donations
are tax deductable.
